Who We Are
Harehills Gospel Hall is the place where a group of Christians meet as instructed in God’s word The Bible.
We do not belong to any denomination or organisation. We do not accept any name other than those names used in the New Testament of all Christians.
The pattern we follow is found only in The Bible which is the inspired Word of God.
What We Do
The purpose of our gathering is to spread the good news given by God known as ‘the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ’.
The Lord Jesus said in Mark chapter 16 verse 15: Go ye into all the world and preach the Gospel.
The bible also left two ordinances that we follow, baptism and the breaking of bread.
1. Baptism: Immersion in water of a believing Christian as a public confession of their Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ. It is an act of obedience which is done once and never repeated.
2. Breaking of Bread: On the first day of the week (Sunday) Christians should break bread and drink the cup as commanded by the Lord Jesus Christ in remembrance of Him.
There are other meetings arranged for Bible study and prayer to provide teaching and encouragement for believers.
